बभूवुर्मार्गवाहिन्यस्सरितः स्वच्छपाथसः ॥ ववुर्वाताः सुखस्पर्शा निर्मलत्वं ययौ नभः॥ ४६॥
The rivers with clear water flowed along their paths; the winds blew very gentle to the touch; the sky became clear.
english translation
babhUvurmArgavAhinyassaritaH svacchapAthasaH ॥ vavurvAtAH sukhasparzA nirmalatvaM yayau nabhaH॥ 46॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुनर्यागः समारेभे देवैर्ब्रह्मर्षिभिस्तथा ॥ सुखिनश्चाभवन्सर्वे महेन्द्राद्या दिवौकसः ॥ ४७ ॥

punaryAgaH samArebhe devairbrahmarSibhistathA ॥ sukhinazcAbhavansarve mahendrAdyA divaukasaH ॥ 47 ॥

O lord this is the most sacred and most sacred character of Uma He who approaches with faith the killing of the king of the demons.

pavitraM paramaM puNyamumAyAzcaritaM prabho ॥ daityarAjavadhopetaM zraddhayA yaH samabhya set ॥ 48 ॥

He enjoyed all the pleasures in this world which are rare even for the gods. By the grace of the great illusory energy one should attain the next garland.

Thus was the goddess, slayer of Śumbha born. She is said to be Sarasvatī. O king, she has manifested herself as a part of Umā.
