॥ वैश्य उवाच ॥ समाधिर्नाम वैश्योहं धनिवंशसमुद्भवः ॥ पुत्रदारादिभिस्त्यक्तो धनलोभान्महीपते ॥ ३६ ॥
Vaishya said:- I am a prostitute named Samadhi and I am born in a rich family. O King he was abandoned by his sons wife and others for the sake of wealth.
english translation
स वनमभ्यागतो राजन्दुःखितः स्वेन कर्मणा ॥ सोहं पुत्रप्रपौत्राणां कलत्राणां तथैव च ॥ ३७ ॥
O King he came to the forest distressed by his actions I am with my sons, grandsons and wives.

भ्रातॄणां भ्रातृपुत्राणां परेषां सुहृदां तथा ॥ न वेद्मि कुशलं सम्यक्करुणासागर प्रभो ॥ ३८॥
brothers nephews and other friends I do not know how you are doing, O Lord, O ocean of mercy.

राजोवाच ॥ निष्कासितो यैः पुत्राद्यैर्दुर्वृत्तैर्धनगर्धिभिः ॥ तेषु किं भवता प्रीतिः क्रियते मूर्खजन्तुवत्॥ ३९॥
The king said:— How is it that you love, even as senseless animals do, those sons and others who are of evil conduct and covetous for wealth and by whom you have been ousted?
english translation
वैश्य उवाच ॥ सम्यगुक्तं त्वया राजन्वचः सारार्थबृंहितम् ॥ तथापि स्नेहपाशेन मोह्यतेऽतीव मे मनः॥ ४०॥
The Vaiśya said:— O king, words pregnant with substantial sense have been uttered by you. Still my mind is deluded by the tie of love.
