तस्मात्तवाहं सुप्रीतः प्रीत्या वरमनुत्तमम् ॥ ददामि त्वं प्रतीक्षस्व त्रिषु लोकेषु दुर्लभम् ॥ २६॥
Being delighted I shall grant you excellent boons lovingly. Accept them. They are difficult to obtain in the three worlds.

tasmAttavAhaM suprItaH prItyA varamanuttamam ॥ dadAmi tvaM pratIkSasva triSu lokeSu durlabham ॥ 26॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन ते प्रभविता मृत्युर्यावज्जीवितुमिच्छसि ॥ त्वत्तोभ्यनुज्ञां संप्राप्य मृत्युः प्रभविता पुनः ॥ २७॥
Death will have no hold on you as long as you wish to live. With your permission it may be effective again.
english translation
na te prabhavitA mRtyuryAvajjIvitumicchasi ॥ tvattobhyanujJAM saMprApya mRtyuH prabhavitA punaH ॥ 27॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकिं वा ते प्रार्थितं भूयो ददामि वरमुत्तमम् ॥ तद् ब्रूहि भरतश्रेष्ठ यत्ते मनसि वर्तते ॥ २८॥
What is it that you wish for? I shall grant you an excellent boon. O foremost among the descendants of Bharata, what is in your mind? Mention it”.
english translation
kiM vA te prArthitaM bhUyo dadAmi varamuttamam ॥ tad brUhi bharatazreSTha yatte manasi vartate ॥ 28॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्युक्तवति तस्मिंस्तु अभिवाद्य कृताञ्जलिः ॥ अवोचं कृतकृत्योऽहं प्रसन्ने त्वयि मानद॥ प्रश्नं पृच्छामि वै कंचिद्वाच्यस्स भवता स्वयम् ॥ २९॥
When he had said this, I saluted him with palms joined in reverence and said—“O bestower of honour, if you are pleased, I am content. I ask you a question. Please answer it.

ityuktavati tasmiMstu abhivAdya kRtAJjaliH ॥ avocaM kRtakRtyo'haM prasanne tvayi mAnada॥ praznaM pRcchAmi vai kaMcidvAcyassa bhavatA svayam ॥ 29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस मामुवाच तद् ब्रूहि यदीच्छसि ददामि ते ॥ इत्युक्तेथ मया तत्र पृष्टः प्रोवाच तन्नृपः॥ ३०॥
He said to me—“Tell me. If you wish I shall grant it to you”. When I asked him again the king told me.

sa mAmuvAca tad brUhi yadIcchasi dadAmi te ॥ ityuktetha mayA tatra pRSTaH provAca tannRpaH॥ 30॥
