इत्युक्त्वा पुत्रमादिश्य ययौ स तपसे नृपः ॥ कुवलाश्वश्च सोत्तङ्को ययौ धुन्धुविनिग्रहे ॥ २५॥

Having said thus and instructed his son the king proceeded with penance. Kuvalāśva accompanied by Uttaṅka went to fight with Dhundhu.

ityuktvA putramAdizya yayau sa tapase nRpaH ॥ kuvalAzvazca sottaGko yayau dhundhuvinigrahe ॥ 25॥
