Shiva Purana
तस्य पुत्रशतं त्वासीत्ककुद्मी ज्येष्ठ उत्तमः ॥ तेजस्वी सुबलः पारो धर्मिष्ठो ब्रह्मपालकः॥ २६॥
He had a hundred sons of whom the eldest and the most excellent was Kakudmin. He was brilliant, strong, virtuous and a protector of brahmins.
english translation
tasya putrazataM tvAsItkakudmI jyeSTha uttamaH ॥ tejasvI subalaH pAro dharmiSTho brahmapAlakaH॥ 26॥
