अरिष्टनेमिपत्नीनामपत्यानीह षोडश ।। बहुपुत्रस्य विदुषश्चतस्रो यास्सुताः स्मृताः ।। ११।।

The wives of Arishtanemi had sixteen children in this world. The four sons of Vidusa who had many sons are mentioned.

कृशाश्वस्य तु देवर्षे देवप्रहरणाः स्मृताः ।। भार्म्यायामर्चिषि मुने धूम्रकेशस्तथैव च ।। १२ ।।

O sage among the gods Krishasva had the weapons of the gods O sage in the fire of Bharmya there was also Dhumrakesha.

kRzAzvasya tu devarSe devapraharaNAH smRtAH || bhArmyAyAmarciSi mune dhUmrakezastathaiva ca || 12 ||

स्वधा सती च द्वे पत्न्यौ स्वधा ज्येष्ठा सती परा ।। स्वधासूत पितॄन्वेदमथर्वाङ्गिरसं सती ।। १३ ।।

sanskrit

Two wives were Svadhā and Satī of whom Svadhā was the elder and Satī the younger. Svadhā gave birth to the Pitṛs and Satī to the Atharvāṅgirasaveda.

svadhA satI ca dve patnyau svadhA jyeSThA satI parA || svadhAsUta pitRRnvedamatharvAGgirasaM satI || 13 ||

एते युगसहस्रांते जायंते पुनरेव हि।। सर्वदेवनिकायाश्च त्रयस्त्रिंशत्तु कामजाः ।। १४ ।।

At the end of a thousand Yugas these will be born again. All the groups of the gods are thirty-three.

ete yugasahasrAMte jAyaMte punareva hi|| sarvadevanikAyAzca trayastriMzattu kAmajAH || 14 ||

यथा सूर्य्यस्य नित्यं हि उदयास्तमयाविह ।। एवं देवानिकास्ते च संभवंति युगेयुगे।। १५।।

sanskrit

Just as the sun rises and sets every day so also the groups of gods are born in every Yuga.

english translation

yathA sUryyasya nityaM hi udayAstamayAviha || evaM devAnikAste ca saMbhavaMti yugeyuge|| 15||
