सूत उवाच ॥ अदितिर्दितिश्च सुरसारिष्टेला दनुरेव च ॥ सुरभिर्विनता चेला ताम्रा क्रोधवशा तथा ॥ १ ॥
Suta said:- Aditi Diti Sura Sarishtela and Danu Surabhi was humbled by Chela and Tamra was angry

sUta uvAca ॥ aditirditizca surasAriSTelA danureva ca ॥ surabhirvinatA celA tAmrA krodhavazA tathA ॥ 1 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकदूर्मुनिश्च विप्रेन्द्र तास्वपत्यानि मे शृणु ॥ पूर्वमन्वंतरे श्रेष्ठे द्वादशासन्सुरोत्तमाः ॥ २ ॥
O best of brāhmaṇas hear from me about the sons of Kadur and the sage In the best of the previous manvantaras there were twelve excellent devas.
english translation
kadUrmunizca viprendra tAsvapatyAni me zRNu ॥ pUrvamanvaMtare zreSThe dvAdazAsansurottamAH ॥ 2 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतुषिता नाम तेऽन्योन्यमूचुर्वैवस्वतेंतरे ॥ उपस्थिते सुयशसश्चाक्षुषस्यांतरे मनोः ॥ ३ ॥

tuSitA nAma te'nyonyamUcurvaivasvateMtare ॥ upasthite suyazasazcAkSuSasyAMtare manoH ॥ 3 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहिताय सर्वलोकानां समागम्य परस्परम् ॥ आगच्छतस्तु तानूचुरदितिं च प्रविश्य वै ॥ ४ ॥

hitAya sarvalokAnAM samAgamya parasparam ॥ Agacchatastu tAnUcuraditiM ca pravizya vai ॥ 4 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमन्वंतरे प्रसूयामस्सतां श्रेयो भविष्यति ॥ एवमुक्तास्तु ते सर्वे चाक्षुषस्यान्तरे मनोः ॥ ५ ॥
We shall beget children in the next manvantara and it will be the best for the virtuous Thus addressed all of them were in the midst of the invisible Manu.

manvaMtare prasUyAmassatAM zreyo bhaviSyati ॥ evamuktAstu te sarve cAkSuSasyAntare manoH ॥ 5 ॥
