तमाहाथ शिवा तुष्टा पार्वती भक्तवत्सला॥ वासुदेवं महात्मानं शंभुभक्तं तपस्विनम् ॥ ३१ ॥
The delighted Pārvatī favourably disposed to her devotees, spoke to lord Kṛṣṇa the noble soul, the devotee of Śiva and who had performed the penance of lord Śiva.
english translation
॥ पार्वत्युवाच ॥ वासुदेव महाबुद्धे कृष्ण तुष्टास्मि तेऽनघ ॥ गृहाण मत्तश्च वरान्मनोज्ञान्भुवि दुर्लभान् ॥ ३२॥
Pārvatī said:— O Kṛṣṇa of great intellect, O sinless son of Vasudeva, I am delighted with you. Take from me too some boons that are rare in the world.
english translation
सनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ इत्याकर्ण्य वचस्तस्याः पार्वत्यास्स यदूद्वहः ॥ उवाच सुप्रसन्नात्मा भक्तियुक्तेन चेतसा ॥ ३३ ॥
Sanatkumāra said:— On hearing the words of Pārvatī the leading descendant of Yadu, very much delighted in his heart, spoke with great devotion in his mind.

श्रीकृष्ण उवाच ॥ देवि त्वं परितुष्टासि चेद्ददासि वरान्हि मे ॥ तपसाऽनेन सत्येन ब्राह्मणान्प्रति मास्मभूत् ॥ ३४॥
Sri Krishna said: ॥ O goddess if you are satisfied with me you will grant me boons By this austerity and truth he became a man towards the brahmins.
english translation
द्वेषः कदाचिद्भद्रं पूजयेयं द्विजान्सदा ॥ तुष्टौ च मातापितरौ भवेतां मम सर्वदा ॥ ३५॥
I should always worship the brahmins who are sometimes hated for their good May my parents be satisfied at all times.
