दृष्ट्वा तां सुन्दरीं पद्मामुवाच स वृषो विभुः ॥ विज्ञातुं भावमन्तःस्थं तस्याश्च मुनियोषितः ॥ 2-3-35-१० ॥
He was in the prime of fresh youth, glorious and lustrous like the cupid. On seeing Padmā he spoke thus, in order to know the innermost feelings of the sage’s wife.
