विष्णुर्ब्रह्मापि न समस्तस्य क्वापि महात्मनः ॥ कुतोऽन्ये निर्जराद्याश्च कालाधीनास्सदैवतम्॥2-3-28-३०॥
Neither Viṣṇu nor Brahmā can equal that noble soul. How can then the gods and others be? They are always dependent on Time and are not eternal.
