तथैकस्या मृदो भेदो नानापात्रे न वस्तुतः।। कारणस्यैव कार्ये च सन्निधानं निदर्शनम् ।।३६।।

sanskrit

Just as the difference of clay and the various objects made of it is not a material one, so also in this case.The presence of the material cause in the effect can be cited as an example.

english translation

tathaikasyA mRdo bhedo nAnApAtre na vastutaH|| kAraNasyaiva kArye ca sannidhAnaM nidarzanam ||36||

ज्ञातव्यं बुधवर्यैश्च निर्मलज्ञानिभिः सुरौ ।। एवं ज्ञात्वा भवभ्यां तु न दृश्यं भेदकार णम् ।।३७।।

sanskrit

This shall be known by all scholars and Gods of unsullied knowledge. If you realise this, you will not be seeing the cause of difference.

english translation

jJAtavyaM budhavaryaizca nirmalajJAnibhiH surau || evaM jJAtvA bhavabhyAM tu na dRzyaM bhedakAra Nam ||37||

वस्तुवत्सर्वदृश्यं च शिवरूपम्मतम्मम ।। अहं भवानजश्चैव रुद्रो योऽयं भविष्यति।।३८।।

sanskrit

I think that we all should see the from of Śiva as the basic material. Myself, you, Brahmā and Rudra who will be manifesting himself are of the same form.

english translation

vastuvatsarvadRzyaM ca zivarUpammatammama || ahaM bhavAnajazcaiva rudro yo'yaM bhaviSyati||38||

एकरूपा न भेदस्तु भेदे वै बंधनं भवेत् ।। तथापि च मदीयं हि शिवरूपं सनातनम् ।।३९।।

sanskrit

There is no difference. If there had been difference that would have been bondage. Yet the eternal Śiva-form is mine alone.

english translation

ekarUpA na bhedastu bhede vai baMdhanaM bhavet || tathApi ca madIyaM hi zivarUpaM sanAtanam ||39||

मूलीभूतं सदोक्तं च सत्यज्ञानमनंतकम्।। एवं ज्ञात्वा सदा ध्येयं मनसा चैव तत्त्वतः ।। 2.1.9.४० ।।

sanskrit

That pure form is spoken of as the main root, the Truth, the Knowledge, the Endless. Realising this too, it must be meditated upon in the true manner in your mind.

english translation

mUlIbhUtaM sadoktaM ca satyajJAnamanaMtakam|| evaM jJAtvA sadA dhyeyaM manasA caiva tattvataH || 2.1.9.40 ||
