प्रथमं दक्षजां साध्वी विवाह्य सुधिया सतीम् ॥ निर्वाहं कृतवान्नैव मूढः किंचिद्दिनानि हि ॥४९॥
At first he married Satī, the chaste daughter of Dakṣa, eagerly but the fool that he was he could not maintain the household even for a few days.
