ददौ तदुपदेशं ते तेभ्यो भ्रातृपथं ययुः ।। आययुर्न पितुर्गेहं भिक्षुवृत्तिरताश्च ते ।।३७।।

sanskrit

He gave them the same instruction and they went the way of their brothers. They never returned to the parental abode. They were engrossed in the avocation of mendicants.

english translation

dadau tadupadezaM te tebhyo bhrAtRpathaM yayuH || Ayayurna piturgehaM bhikSuvRttiratAzca te ||37||
