ऋषय ऊचुः ॥ न ज्ञातं तस्य चरितं वृथापण्डितमानिनः ॥ देवर्षेः कूरमनसः सुज्ञा भूत्वाप्यगात्मजे ॥२९॥

sanskrit

The sages said: O daughter of the mountain, although you are wise and intelligent, you are not able to see through the conduct of that celestial sage who professes to be a great scholar but who is cruel-minded.

english translation

RSaya UcuH ॥ na jJAtaM tasya caritaM vRthApaNDitamAninaH ॥ devarSeH kUramanasaH sujJA bhUtvApyagAtmaje ॥29॥
