।। ब्रह्मोवाच ।। इत्याकर्ण्य नीनां तु विज्ञप्तिं करुणानिधिः ।। प्रोवाच विहसन्प्रीत्या प्रोत्फुल्लनयनाम्बुजः ।। १२ ।।

sanskrit

Brahmā said: On hearing the words of the sages, lord Śiva, the storehouse of sympathy spoke lovingly and laughingly with eyes beaming like full-blown lotus.

english translation

|| brahmovAca || ityAkarNya nInAM tu vijJaptiM karuNAnidhiH || provAca vihasanprItyA protphullanayanAmbujaH || 12 ||
