ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ इत्याकर्ण्य वचस्तस्य मुने विष्ण्वादयस्सुराः ॥ तथेति मत्त्वा सुप्रीत्या शंकरं तुष्टुवुर्हि ते ॥ ४२ ॥
Brahmā said: O sage, on hearing his words, Viṣṇu and other gods, considering that it must be so, eulogised Śiva with pleasure.
