भवतो हि कुलस्यास्य साफल्यं कर्तुमिच्छति ॥ तपसा साधनीयोऽसौ नान्यथा दृश्यतां व्रजेत् ॥५॥

sanskrit

He (the Divine) indeed desires to bring about the fulfillment of this noble lineage of yours. That can be achieved only through penance — not by any other means. Let this be understood and pursued.

english translation

bhavato hi kulasyAsya sAphalyaM kartumicchati ॥ tapasA sAdhanIyo'sau nAnyathA dRzyatAM vrajet ॥5॥
