ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ इत्येवं वचनं पित्रा प्रोक्तं श्रुत्वा तु ते तदा ॥ जग्मतुर्मातरं सख्यौ तदाज्ञप्ते तया सह ॥ 2.3.22.१० ॥

Brahmā said: After hearing the words spoken by her father and (in a way) commanded by him, the two maids went to her mother along with her.

english translation

brahmovAca ॥ ityevaM vacanaM pitrA proktaM zrutvA tu te tadA ॥ jagmaturmAtaraM sakhyau tadAjJapte tayA saha ॥ 2.3.22.10 ॥
