निवसंती पितुर्ग्गेहे पिनाकिगतचेतना ॥ शुशोचाथ शिवा तात मुमोह च मुहुर्मुहुः ॥ १७ ॥

O dear, with her consciousness centred round the Pināka-bearing lord, she continued to stay in the palace of her father. Śiva bewailed much and fainted frequently.

english translation

nivasaMtI piturggehe pinAkigatacetanA ॥ zuzocAtha zivA tAta mumoha ca muhurmuhuH ॥ 17 ॥
