ततस्तां च समाश्वास्य रुद्रस्य वचने स्थिताः।। उक्त्वा वचस्तदीयं च स्वं स्वं धाम ययुर्मुने ।।५१।।

sanskrit

O sage, abiding by the directions of Śiva and consoling Rati by means of the conciliatory words of Śiva, the gods returned to their respective places.

english translation

tatastAM ca samAzvAsya rudrasya vacane sthitAH|| uktvA vacastadIyaM ca svaM svaM dhAma yayurmune ||51||

कामपत्नी समादिष्टं नगरं सा गता तदा ।। प्रतीक्षमाणा तं कालं रुद्रादिष्टं मुनीश्वर ।। ५२ ।।

sanskrit

O excellent sage, then Rati, the wife of Kāma went to the city and waited for the time mentioned by Siva.

english translation

kAmapatnI samAdiSTaM nagaraM sA gatA tadA || pratIkSamANA taM kAlaM rudrAdiSTaM munIzvara || 52 ||
