किं जातं चरितं चित्रं किमहं मोहमागतः ॥ कामेन विकृतश्चाद्य भूत्वापि प्रभुरीश्वरः ॥ ४३ ॥

sanskrit

How wonderful and mysterious is the situation that has arisen! How is it that I have been deluded and fascinated? Though I am the lord and master, I have been perturbed by Kāma.

kiM jAtaM caritaM citraM kimahaM mohamAgataH ॥ kAmena vikRtazcAdya bhUtvApi prabhurIzvaraH ॥ 43 ॥
