तमूर्द्ध्वरेतसं शंभुं सैव प्रच्युतरेतसम् ॥ कर्तुं समर्था नान्यास्ति तथा काप्यबला बलात् ॥ ३१ ॥
Śiva is a great Yogin who can make semen flow upwards in the body. Only Pārvatī can make him discharge the semen downwards, out of the body. There is no other woman capable of it.

सा सुता गिरिराजस्य सांप्रतं प्रौढयौवना ॥ तपस्यते हिमगिरौ नित्यं संसेवते हरम् ॥३२॥
That daughter of the lord of the mountains is now in her prime of youth. She is serving Śiva in his penance on the Himalayas.

वाक्याद्धिमवतः कालीं स्वपितुर्हठतश्शिवा ॥ सखीभ्यां सेवते सार्द्धं ध्यानस्थं परमेश्वरम् ॥३३॥
As a result of the tenacious pleadings of her father, she is serving Him in meditation.

तामग्रतोऽर्च्चमानां वै त्रैलोक्ये वरवर्णिनीम् ॥ ध्यानसक्तो महेशो हि मनसापि न हीयते ॥३४॥
She is the most beautiful lady in the three worlds. She stands in front of Him and worships Him. Still lord Śiva who is engrossed in His meditation is not distracted by her presence.

भार्य्यां समीहेत यथा स कालीं चन्द्रशेखरः ॥ तथा विधध्वं त्रिदशा न चिरादेव यत्नतः ॥३५॥
It is your duty to ascertain means to make Him desire Pārvatī for His wife. O gods, do something in that direction very quickly.
