तपःप्रारम्भमकरोत्स्थित्वा तत्र वशी हरः ॥ एकाग्रं चिंतयामास स्वमात्मानमतन्द्रितः ॥ ६ ॥
There, the self-controlled Lord Hara (Shiva) began his penance, remaining steady and unwavering, and with one-pointed concentration, he contemplated upon his own true Self.
