देवा ऊचुः ।। शिवे शर्वाणि कल्याणि जगदम्ब महेश्वरि ।। त्वां नतास्सर्वथा देवा वयं सर्वार्तिनाशिनीम् ।।९।।।

sanskrit

The gods said: O Śivā, O great Goddess, O mother of the universe we gods bow to you, the destroyer of all distress.

english translation

devA UcuH || zive zarvANi kalyANi jagadamba mahezvari || tvAM natAssarvathA devA vayaM sarvArtinAzinIm ||9|||
