परेषां क्लेदनं कर्म न कार्यं तत्कदाचन॥ परं द्वेष्टि परेषां यदात्मनस्तद्भविष्यति ॥ ६ ॥
No action that involves the affliction of others will be indulged in by me at any time. If anyone hates another it will recoil on him alone.

दक्षस्य यज्ञशीर्ष्णो हि भवत्वजमुखं शिरः ॥ मित्रनेत्रेण संपश्येद्यज्ञभागं भगस्सुरः ॥ ७ ॥
Let the head (the sacrificial head) of Dakṣa be that of a goat. Let the god Bhaga receive his share in the sacrifice in conjunction with the sun.

पूषाभिधस्सुरस्तातौ दद्भिर्यज्ञसुपिष्टभुक् ॥ याजमानैर्भग्नदंतस्सत्यमेतन्मयोदितम् ॥८॥
O dear ones, the god Pūṣan who used to grip the cooked offerings in a sacrifice with his teeth has been rendered broken-toothed and will remain as such. I have spoken the truth.

बस्तश्मश्रुर्भवेदेव भृगुर्मम विरोध कृत्॥ देवाः प्रकृतिसर्वांगा ये म उच्छेदनं ददुः॥९॥
Bhṛgu who opposed me shall become goat-bearded. The gods who tried to uproot me shall have their physical bodies.

बाहुभ्यामश्विनौ पूष्णो हस्ताभ्यां कृतवाहकौ ॥ भवंत्वध्वर्यवश्चान्ये भवत्प्रीत्या मयोदितम् ॥2-2-42-१०॥
Let the Adhvaryu priests be borne through the arms of Aśvins and the hands of Pūṣan. I have spoken thus out of love for you.
