पूर्णभागोस्तु ते नाथावशिष्टेऽध्वरकर्मणि ॥ रुद्रभागेन यज्ञस्ते कल्पितो नान्यथा क्वचित् ॥ ५१ ॥
O Lord, you are indeed the one who deserves the full share (पूर्णभाग) in the remaining part of the sacrificial rite (adhvara karma). This sacrifice is established only through your Rudra portion—never otherwise, under any circumstance.

इत्युक्त्वा सप्रजेशश्च रमेशश्च कृतांजलिः ॥ दंडवत्पतितो भूमौ क्षमापयितुमुद्यतः॥५२॥
Having spoken thus, both the Lord of creation (Brahma, along with other lords of beings) and Ramesha (Lord Vishnu), with folded hands, fell prostrate on the ground like a staff (completely flat) — prepared to beg for forgiveness.
