तत्त्वानामिति संख्यानमुक्तं ते ऋषिसत्तम ॥ जडात्मकञ्च तत्सर्वं प्रकृतेः पुरुषं विना ॥५८॥

sanskrit

O most excellent of sages, I have thus enumerated the principles. All these principles originating from Prakṛti are insentient. but not the Puruṣa. These principles are twenty-four in number.

english translation

tattvAnAmiti saMkhyAnamuktaM te RSisattama ॥ jaDAtmakaJca tatsarvaM prakRteH puruSaM vinA ॥58॥
