शंकरस्य प्रभावात्तु कुशमुष्टिर्मुनेर्हि सा ।। दिव्यं त्रिशूलमभवत् कालाग्निसदृशं मुने ।। २४ ।।

O sage, thanks to the power of Śiva, the fistful Kuśa grass of the sage became the divine trident equal in potentiality to the fire of the god of death.

english translation

zaMkarasya prabhAvAttu kuzamuSTirmunerhi sA || divyaM trizUlamabhavat kAlAgnisadRzaM mune || 24 ||
