तज्जटायास्समुद्भूतो वीरभद्रो महाबलः ॥ पूर्वभागेन देवर्षे महाभीमो गणाग्रणीः ॥ २२ ॥

O celestial sage, from the first half of that cluster of matted hair, rose up the powerful Vīrabhadra, the terrific leader of the Gaṇas.

tajjaTAyAssamudbhUto vIrabhadro mahAbalaH ॥ pUrvabhAgena devarSe mahAbhImo gaNAgraNIH ॥ 22 ॥
