तोदनाच्च द्विधा भूता सा जटा च मुने प्रभोः ॥ संबभूव महारावो महाप्रलयभीषणः ॥ ॥ २१ ॥

sanskrit

O sage, the cluster of the matted hair of the lord split into two, on being struck on the mountain. A loud explosive sound was heard which was as terrific as the sound at the time of dissolution.

english translation

todanAcca dvidhA bhUtA sA jaTA ca mune prabhoH ॥ saMbabhUva mahArAvo mahApralayabhISaNaH ॥ ॥ 21 ॥
