ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ इत्युक्त्वाध्वरशालायामखिलायां सुसंस्थितान् ॥ व्यरमत्सा नभोवाणी सर्वकल्याणकारिणी ॥३६॥

sanskrit

Brahmā said: After saying this to those who had gathered in the sacrificial hall, the celestial voice that conferred welfare stopped. O dear one, on hearing the astral voice Viṣṇu and other devas were surprised. The sages too were wonder-struck.

english translation

brahmovAca ॥ ityuktvAdhvarazAlAyAmakhilAyAM susaMsthitAn ॥ vyaramatsA nabhovANI sarvakalyANakAriNI ॥36॥

तच्छ्रुत्वा व्योमवचनं सर्वे हर्यादयस्सुराः ॥ अकार्षुर्विस्मयं तात मुनयश्च तथा परे ॥ ३७ ॥

sanskrit

Upon hearing the celestial voice, all the gods including Hari (Vishnu), as well as the sages and others, were filled with great wonder, O dear one.

english translation

tacchrutvA vyomavacanaM sarve haryAdayassurAH ॥ akArSurvismayaM tAta munayazca tathA pare ॥ 37 ॥
