शिवोपि तं प्रबोध्याशु स्वगणं प्राणवल्लभम् ॥ सगणस्स ययौ तस्मात्स्वस्थानं प्रमुदान्वितः ॥ ५१ ॥
After enlightening him and also his favourite Gaṇas, Śiva returned to His abode accompanied by his Gaṇas with great delight.
english translation
दक्षोपि स रुषाविष्टस्तैर्द्धिजैः परिवारितः ॥ स्वस्थानं च ययौ चित्ते शिवद्रो हपरायणः ॥ ५२ ॥
Seething with fury and malice against Śiva, Dakṣa went to his abode along with the brahmins.
english translation
रुद्रं तदानीं परिशप्यमानं संस्मृत्य दक्षः परया रुषान्वितः ॥ श्रद्धां विहायैव स मूढबुद्धिर्निंदापरोभूच्छिवपूजकानाम् ॥ ५३ ॥
Remembering the situation in which Śiva had been cursed and still furious against him, Dakṣa of confounded intellect forsook his faith and entertained enmity and disgust against the worshippers of Śiva.
english translation
इत्युक्तो दक्षदुर्बुद्धिश्शंभुना परमात्मना ॥ परां दुर्धिषणां तस्य शृणु तात वदाम्यहम् ॥ ५४ ॥
Thus I have narrated the crooked intellect of Dakṣa in regard to Śiva the great Self. O dear one, hear about his evil intention and thought. I shall tell you further.
