सस्मार स्वपणं पूर्वं यत्कृतं हरिकोपतः ॥ तत्प्रार्थितोथ रुद्रोसौ मर्यादा प्रतिपालकः ॥ ४८ ॥
He (Rudra/Shiva) remembered the earlier incident in the dream, which had occurred due to Hari’s (Vishnu’s) anger. Then, having been prayed to, Rudra became the upholder of righteousness and discipline.
