आकर्ण्य तच्छिवः स्वामी स्वेच्छयोपात्तविग्रहः ॥ अवोचत्परमप्रीतस्सतीं योगविरक्तधीः ॥ ११ ॥
On hearing that, lord Śiva whose mind is engrossed in the practice of Yoga and who assumes physical bodies out of his own accord, spoke to Satī.
english translation
AkarNya tacchivaH svAmI svecchayopAttavigrahaH ॥ avocatparamaprItassatIM yogaviraktadhIH ॥ 11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript॥ शिव उवाच ॥ शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि दाक्षायणि महेश्वरि ॥ परं तत्त्वं तदेवानुशयी मुक्तो भवेद्यतः ॥ १२ ।
Śiva said: O Goddess Satī, listen, I shall explain the great principle whereby the remorseful creature becomes a liberated soul.
english translation
॥ ziva uvAca ॥ zRNu devi pravakSyAmi dAkSAyaNi mahezvari ॥ paraM tattvaM tadevAnuzayI mukto bhavedyataH ॥ 12 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरतत्त्वं विजानीहि विज्ञानं परमेश्वरी ॥ द्वितीयं स्मरणं यत्र नाहं ब्रह्मेति शुद्धधीः ॥१३॥
O great Goddess, know that the perfect knowledge is the great principle—the consciousness that “I am Brahman” in the perfect intellect where nothing else is remembered.
english translation
paratattvaM vijAnIhi vijJAnaM paramezvarI ॥ dvitIyaM smaraNaM yatra nAhaM brahmeti zuddhadhIH ॥13॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद्दुर्लभं त्रिलोकेस्मिंस्तज्ज्ञाता विरलः प्रिये ॥ यादृशो यस्सदासोहं ब्रह्मसाक्षात्परात्परः ॥ १४ ॥
This consciousness is very rare in the three worlds. O beloved, I am Brahman, the greatest of the great and very few are those who know my real nature.
english translation
taddurlabhaM trilokesmiMstajjJAtA viralaH priye ॥ yAdRzo yassadAsohaM brahmasAkSAtparAtparaH ॥ 14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतन्माता मम भक्तिश्च भुक्तिमुक्तिफलप्रदा ॥ सुलभा मत्प्रसादाद्धि नवधा सा प्रकीर्तिता ॥ १५ ॥
Devotion to me is considered as the bestower of worldly pleasures and salvation. It is achievable only by my grace. It is nine-fold.
english translation
tanmAtA mama bhaktizca bhuktimuktiphalapradA ॥ sulabhA matprasAdAddhi navadhA sA prakIrtitA ॥ 15 ॥
