मध्यमार्गाद्विसृष्टो हि दक्षः प्रीत्याथ शम्भुना ।। वधाम प्राप सगणः शम्भुः प्रेमसमाकुलः ।। ५१ ।।

Half the way Śiva took leave of Dakṣa with pleasure. Along with his followers Dakṣa returned to his abode thrilled by Śiva’s love.

english translation

madhyamArgAdvisRSTo hi dakSaH prItyAtha zambhunA || vadhAma prApa sagaNaH zambhuH premasamAkulaH || 51 ||

विसृष्टा अपि विष्ण्वाद्याश्शम्भुना पुनरेव ते ।। अनुजग्मुश्शिवं भक्त्या सुराः परमया मुदा ।।५२।।

Viṣṇu and other Devas, though permitted to go, followed Śiva with devotion and great joy.

visRSTA api viSNvAdyAzzambhunA punareva te || anujagmuzzivaM bhaktyA surAH paramayA mudA ||52||

तैस्सर्वैस्सगणैश्शंभुस्सत्यः च स्वस्त्रिया युतः ।। प्राप स्वं धाम संहृष्टो हिमवद्गिरि शोभितम् ।। ५३ ।।

With these, his wife and his attendants Śiva reached his abode in the beauteous surroundings of the Himālayas with very great delight.

taissarvaissagaNaizzaMbhussatyaH ca svastriyA yutaH || prApa svaM dhAma saMhRSTo himavadgiri zobhitam || 53 ||

तत्र गत्वाखिलान्देवान्मुनीनपि परांस्तथा ।। मुदा विसर्जयामास बहु सम्मान्य सादरम् ।। ५४ ।।

After reaching his abode Śiva honoured the devas and the great sages and then bade farewell to them with respect.

शंभुमाभाष्य ते सर्वे विष्ण्वाद्या मुदितानना ।। स्वंस्वं धाम ययुर्नत्वा स्तुत्वा च मुनयस्सुराः ।। ५५ ।।

Taking leave of Śiva eulogising and bowing to Him, Viṣṇu, as also the Gods and sages with joyful beaming faces returned to their respective abodes.

zaMbhumAbhASya te sarve viSNvAdyA muditAnanA || svaMsvaM dhAma yayurnatvA stutvA ca munayassurAH || 55 ||
