मार्गशीर्षेऽसिताष्टम्यां सतिलैस्सयवौदनैः ॥ पूजयित्वा हरं कीलैर्निनाय दिवसान् सती ॥ १६ ॥

On the eighth day in the dark half of Mārgaśīrṣa (November-December), Satī worshipped Śiva with cooked barley and gingelly seeds and spent the other days (in devotion).
