सतीमूर्तिमहं धृत्वा तस्यैव वशवर्तिनी ॥ भविष्यामि महाभागा लक्ष्मीर्विष्णोर्यथा प्रिया॥४६॥
I shall take up the body of Satī and be subservient to Him even as Lakṣmī the Goddess of Fortune is the beloved of Viṣṇu.
english translation
यथा सोपि मयैवेय वशवर्ती सदा भवेत्॥ तथा यत्नं करिष्यामि तस्यैव कृपया विधे॥४७॥
O Brahmā thanks to His own favour I shall so endeavour as to make Him subservient to me always.
english translation
उत्पन्ना दक्षजायायां सतीरूपेण शंकरम्॥ अहं सभाजयिष्यामि लीलया तं पितामह ॥४८॥
O Brahmā, being born of Dakṣa’s wife in the from of Satī, I shall duly honour Śiva with my sports.
english translation
यथान्यजंतुरवनौ वर्तते वनितावशे ॥ मद्भक्त्या स हरो वामावशवर्ती भविष्यति ॥४९॥
Just as ordinary mortals on the earth are subservient to their women-folk so also Śiva shall be subservient to a woman due to my ardent devotion.

सतीमूर्तिमहं धृत्वा तस्यैव वशवर्तिनी ॥ भविष्यामि महाभागा लक्ष्मीर्विष्णोर्यथा प्रिया॥४६॥
Brahmā said: After addressing me thus, Śiva, the mother of the universe, vanished from the scene even as I was watching her.
