देव्युवाच ।। अहो सुमहदाश्चर्यं वेदवक्तापि विश्वकृत् ।। महाज्ञानपरो भूत्वा विधाता किं वदत्ययम् ।।३३।।

sanskrit

The Devī said: O this is an extremely wonderful thing. He is the reciter of the Vedas and the creator of the universe. He is endowed with great knowledge. Yet what is this that He says?

english translation

devyuvAca || aho sumahadAzcaryaM vedavaktApi vizvakRt || mahAjJAnaparo bhUtvA vidhAtA kiM vadatyayam ||33||
