अशोचं बहुधा चित्ते गृह्णीयात्स कथं स्त्रियम् ॥ निर्विकारी जितात्मा स शंकरो योगतत्परः॥६॥

How will Śiva who is free from depravity, who has conquered himself and who is devoted to Yogic practices take up a wife unto himself? Thinking thus I bewailed a lot.

english translation

azocaM bahudhA citte gRhNIyAtsa kathaM striyam ॥ nirvikArI jitAtmA sa zaMkaro yogatatparaH॥6॥
