मूढं मत्वा मुनिं तौ तन्निकटं जग्मतुर्गणौ ॥ कुरुतस्तत्प्रहासं वै भाषमाणौ परस्परम् ॥ 2.1.3.४० ॥

Considering the sage a fool, the two attendants sat near the sage and began to mock at him seemingly conversing between themselves.

mUDhaM matvA muniM tau tannikaTaM jagmaturgaNau ॥ kurutastatprahAsaM vai bhASamANau parasparam ॥ 2.1.3.40 ॥
