।। ब्रह्मोवाच ।। मनो भववचश्चेत्थं श्रुत्वाहं चतुराननः ।। विवक्षुरपि नावोचं चिंताविष्टोऽभवं तदा ।।३१।।

sanskrit

Brahmā said: On hearing these words of Kāma I, the four-faced lord, though desirous of saying something did not say anything and was agitated with anxious thoughts.

english translation

|| brahmovAca || mano bhavavacazcetthaM zrutvAhaM caturAnanaH || vivakSurapi nAvocaM ciMtAviSTo'bhavaM tadA ||31||
