कटाक्षपाततुंगौघां स्वीयनेत्रोत्पलान्विताम् ॥ तनुलोमांबुशैवालां मनोद्रुमविलासिनीम् ॥ २६ ॥
The curly locks of hair on her body were like the mossy growth in the river. She shone with her mind expanded like the tree.
english translation
kaTAkSapAtatuMgaughAM svIyanetrotpalAnvitAm ॥ tanulomAMbuzaivAlAM manodrumavilAsinIm ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिम्ननाभिह्रदां क्षामां सर्वांगरमणीयिकाम् ॥ सर्वलावण्यसदनां शोभमानां रमामिव ॥ २७ ॥
Her deep navel resembled the deep eddy. Thus shone Rati with her beautiful body. In fact she appeared to be the abode of beauty itself like Ramā (Goddess Lakṣmī).

nimnanAbhihradAM kSAmAM sarvAMgaramaNIyikAm ॥ sarvalAvaNyasadanAM zobhamAnAM ramAmiva ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्वादशाभरणैर्युक्तां शृंगारैः षोडशैर्युताम् ॥ मोहनीं सर्वलोकानां भासयंतीं दिशो दश ॥२८॥
She had twelve varieties of ornaments. She was an expert in the sixteen types of amorous gestures. She was capable of charming the whole world. She illuminated all the ten quarters.
english translation
dvAdazAbharaNairyuktAM zRMgAraiH SoDazairyutAm ॥ mohanIM sarvalokAnAM bhAsayaMtIM dizo daza ॥28॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइति तां मदनो वीक्ष्य रतिं जग्राह सोत्सुकः ॥ रागादुपस्थितां लक्ष्मीं हृषीकेश इवोत्तमाम् ॥२९॥
Seeing Rati like this, Kāma eagerly accepted her just as Viṣṇu accepted Lakṣmī who approached him with love.

iti tAM madano vIkSya ratiM jagrAha sotsukaH ॥ rAgAdupasthitAM lakSmIM hRSIkeza ivottamAm ॥29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनोवाच च तदा दक्षं कामो मोदभवात्ततः ॥ विस्मृत्य दारुणं शापं विधिदत्तं विमोहितः॥2-2-4-३०॥
In his height of joy, the deluded Kāma forgot the terrible curse of Brahmā and so he had no occasion to mention about it to Dakṣa.

novAca ca tadA dakSaM kAmo modabhavAttataH ॥ vismRtya dAruNaM zApaM vidhidattaM vimohitaH॥2-2-4-30॥
