प्रबला भाविनी कर्म गतिर्ज्ञेया विचक्षणैः॥ न निवार्या जनैः कैश्चिदपीच्छा सैव शांकरी॥३६॥
The future course of actions shall be considered inevitable by sensible persons. The will of Śiva cannot be warded off by any one.
english translation
prabalA bhAvinI karma gatirjJeyA vicakSaNaiH॥ na nivAryA janaiH kaizcidapIcchA saiva zAMkarI॥36॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततस्स मुनिवर्यो हि ब्रह्मलोकं जगाम ह ॥ विधिं नत्वाऽब्रवीत्कामजयं स्वस्य तपोबलात् ॥३७॥
Then the great sage went to Brahmā’s world. After saluting Brahmā he told him about his conquest of Kāma as a result of his penance.
english translation
tatassa munivaryo hi brahmalokaM jagAma ha ॥ vidhiM natvA'bravItkAmajayaM svasya tapobalAt ॥37॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदाकर्ण्य विधिस्सोथ स्मृत्वा शम्भुपदाम्बुजम् ॥ ज्ञात्वा सर्वं कारणं तन्निषिषेध सुतं तदा ॥३८॥
On hearing that, Brahmā remembered the lotuslike feet of Śiva and knew thereby the true cause. He then forbade his son.
english translation
tadAkarNya vidhissotha smRtvA zambhupadAmbujam ॥ jJAtvA sarvaM kAraNaM tanniSiSedha sutaM tadA ॥38॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमेने हितन्न विध्युक्तं नारदो ज्ञानिसत्तमः ॥ शिवमायामोहितश्च रूढचित्तमदांकुरः ॥३९॥
Although foremost among the wise, Nārada did not take up the advice of Brahmā as he had been deluded by Śiva’s Māyā. The sprout of arrogance had been so fixed in his mind.
english translation
mene hitanna vidhyuktaM nArado jJAnisattamaH ॥ zivamAyAmohitazca rUDhacittamadAMkuraH ॥39॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवेच्छा यादृशी लोके भवत्येव हि सा तदा ॥ तदधीनं जगत्सर्वं वचस्तंत्यांत स्थितं यतः॥2-1-2-४०॥
Everything will take place in the world in the manner Śiva wills. It is true that the entire universe is dependent on His will.
english translation
zivecchA yAdRzI loke bhavatyeva hi sA tadA ॥ tadadhInaM jagatsarvaM vacastaMtyAMta sthitaM yataH॥2-1-2-40॥
