सविस्मयास्ततो देवास्स्वंस्वं धाम ययुर्मुदा ॥ तेऽपि विप्रा महाहर्षात्पुनर्याता यथागतम् ॥ ४६ ॥
The gods, thus surprised returned to their respective abodes and rejoiced. The brahmins too in great delight returned the way they came.
english translation
इदं चरित्रं परम व्याघ्रेश्वरसमुद्भवम् ॥ शृणुयाच्छ्रावयेद्वापि पठेद्वा पाठयेत्तथा ॥ ४७ ॥
He who reads this sacred narrative about the origin of the lord of the tiger, hears, narrates or teaches this shall obtain all desires.
english translation
सर्वान्कामानवाप्नोति नरस्स्वमनसेसितान् ॥ परत्र लभते मोक्षं सर्वदुःखविवर्जितः ॥४८॥
He who reads this sacred narrative about the origin of the lord of the tiger, hears, narrates or teaches this shall obtain all desires.
english translation
इदमाख्यानमतुलं शिवलीला मृताक्षरम्॥ स्वर्ग्यं यशस्यमायुष्यं पुत्रपौत्रप्रवर्द्धनम् ॥४९॥
This narrative is incomparable as it contains the nectar-like words of the divine sports of Śiva. It is conducive to the attainment of heaven, fame and longevity. It increases sons and grandsons.

परं भक्तिप्रदं धन्यं शिवप्रीतिकरं शिवम्॥ परमज्ञानदं रम्यं विकारहरणं परम् ॥ 2-5-58-५० ॥
It yields great devotion and bliss. It is auspicious and increases the pleasure of Śiva. It yields supreme know ledge. It is beautiful and removes all aberrations.
