यथा कोऽपि न वेत्त्येवं तथाऽच्छन्नोऽभवत्पुनः ॥ वने वनेचरो भूत्वा यादोरूपो जलाशये ॥2.5.58.२०॥

After that he used to lie hidden so that nobody could detect him. In the forest he used to roam about like a forest-dweller and in the waters he used to take the form of an aquatic animal.

english translation

yathA ko'pi na vettyevaM tathA'cchanno'bhavatpunaH ॥ vane vanecaro bhUtvA yAdorUpo jalAzaye ॥2.5.58.20॥
