यथा कोऽपि न वेत्त्येवं तथाऽच्छन्नोऽभवत्पुनः ।। वने वनेचरो भूत्वा यादोरूपो जलाशये ।।2.5.58.२०।।

sanskrit

After that he used to lie hidden so that nobody could detect him. In the forest he used to roam about like a forest-dweller and in the waters he used to take the form of an aquatic animal.

english translation

yathA ko'pi na vettyevaM tathA'cchanno'bhavatpunaH || vane vanecaro bhUtvA yAdorUpo jalAzaye ||2.5.58.20||
