रुद्रं प्रसादयामास शूलिनं चन्द्र शेखरम् ।। बाणासुरो महाभक्तो विस्मृतात्मगतिर्नतः।।१३।।

sanskrit

Much of his blood was shed on the ground. By all these means be propitiated the trident-bearing moon-crested lord. Bāṇāsura the great devotee of Śiva forgot himself and his activities in the course of his worship.

english translation

rudraM prasAdayAmAsa zUlinaM candra zekharam || bANAsuro mahAbhakto vismRtAtmagatirnataH||13||
