माहात्म्यमद्भुतं शंभोश्शरणागतरक्षिणः ॥ सुभक्तवत्सलस्यैव नानालीलाविहारिणः ॥ ७ ॥
It is wonderful indeed, the greatness of Śiva is wonderful. Śiva protects those who seek refuge in him. He is favourably disposed to his devotees. He indulges in different kinds of sports.
