विभ्रमद् व्योम्नि तच्छूलं शंख चूडोपरि क्षणात् ।। चकार भस्म तच्छीघ्रं निपत्य शिवशासनात् ।। २८ ।।

sanskrit

That trident whirling round over the head of Śaṅkhacūḍa for a while fell on the head of the Dānava at the behest of Śiva and reduced him to ashes.

english translation

vibhramad vyomni tacchUlaM zaMkha cUDopari kSaNAt || cakAra bhasma tacchIghraM nipatya zivazAsanAt || 28 ||
