तथापि वेदमर्यादा न नाश्या स्वामिना त्वया ।। तां शृणुष्व महादेव सफलं कुरु सत्यतः ।। ११ ।।

Still, the limit imposed by the Vedas should not be disregarded by you, the lord. O great god, listen to that. Make it truthful and fruitful.

tathApi vedamaryAdA na nAzyA svAminA tvayA || tAM zRNuSva mahAdeva saphalaM kuru satyataH || 11 ||

यावदस्य करेऽत्युग्रं कवचं परमं हरेः ।। यावत्सतीत्वमस्त्येव सत्या अस्य हि योषितः ।। १२ ।।

O lord Śiva, it has been mentioned by Brahmā, that, as long as he wears the armour of Viṣṇu and as long as his wife maintains the marital fidelity, Śaṅkhacūḍa has neither death nor old age.

english translation

yAvadasya kare'tyugraM kavacaM paramaM hareH || yAvatsatItvamastyeva satyA asya hi yoSitaH || 12 ||

तावदस्य जरामृत्युश्शंखचूडस्य शंकर ।। नास्तीत्यवितथं नाथ विधेहि ब्रह्मणो वचः ।। १३ ।।

O Śaṅkara (Shiva), until then, old age and death shall not affect Śaṅkhachūḍa — This is the truthful word of Brahmā, O Lord; please honor it.

tAvadasya jarAmRtyuzzaMkhacUDasya zaMkara || nAstItyavitathaM nAtha vidhehi brahmaNo vacaH || 13 ||

इत्याकर्ण्य नभोवाणीं तथेत्युक्ते हरे तदा ।। हरेच्छयागतो विष्णुस्तं दिदेश सतां गतिः ।। १४ ।।

On hearing this celestial voice, Śiva said “So be it”. Viṣṇu came there at the wish of Śiva. Śiva, who is the goal of the good, commanded him.

वृद्धब्राह्मणवेषेण विष्णुर्मायाविनां वरः ।। शङ्खचूडोपकंठं च गत्वोवाच स तं तदा ।। १५ ।।

Then, in the guise of an old brahmin, Viṣṇu, the foremost of those who wield magic, approached Śaṅkhacūḍa and told him.
