वेदवेदांगवित्प्राज्ञो वेदान्तादिषु दक्षिणः॥ राजमान्योऽथ बहुधा वदान्यः कीर्तिभाजनः॥६॥
He knew Vedas and Vedāṅgas. He was a great scholar of Vedānta etc. He was honoured by the king. He was a liberal-minded donor and as such his fame had spread far and wide.
